Follow these top 5 tips for adding relevant keywords to your photos:

  1. Write a brief description. Each individual photo allows for a description, so you can call out specifics within the image. Thread keywords into this brief description to optimize your visibility for those searching.

  2. Select all that apply. As you add details about your photo, you’ll notice some pre-populated drop-downs for spaces and product types. Be sure to select all that apply to each photo, so you don’t miss out on any search-results action.

  3. Keyword each individual photo. There is no limit to the number of keywords you can pair with each photo but always keep relevancy in mind. Always ask yourself, “If someone searches this keyword and this photo pops up, will they have found what they’re looking for?”

  4. Synonyms are your friends. Using synonyms ensure your bases are covered. For example, if one of your keywords is “store design”, also use “retail design.”
